Secure Server Answers to
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

1. What information does Nite I's track?

A: Nite I's does not track any personal information on this WEB site except for certain CGI information when you first log into the WEB page itself. The information is useful for us to keep a count of actual hits, on the WEB page versus data crawler and search engine hits. Other than that no information is tracked by Nite I's.

Nite I's, Incorporated does not install any cookies on your machine and does not try to track your information. However PayPal does use a cookie when you are ordering to keep track of your shopping cart. When you are ordering by Secure Server, your name, address and credit card information are required, but that information is used by your card company to verify the card and is not tracked by Nite I's in any way. Even your customer number is generated new each time you order. We don't like people or agencies keeping track of information on us and we don't do it to other people.

2. How can I tell I'm on a secure page?

The order form page is not a secure page. The reason is that it does not need to be. No sensitive information is entered on the order form page. Critical information is not entered until you are on the Secure Server page. The Secure Server page is entered after you click on the "View Cart " button at the bottom of the order form page.

Once you view your cart and are ready to check out with PayPal, you are then moved to a secure server.

3. How secure is the Secure Server Link?

In some ways it is more secure than using your credit card in the open. Carbons are easily copied and tracked. The encryption polynomial is randomly selected with 128 bits and sent via SSL protocols. Could someone break it? Possibly. But in our humble opinions you are far less likely to have your information stolen from a cracked SSL encoded signal than you are to loose your identity from normal use of your credit card in traditional brick and mortar settings.

4. I've heard horror stories on the news about identity loss, it this possible?

Of course everyone should guard their personal information and especially their financial infromation deligently. However verifying identity loss and separating fact from fiction can be a difficult task. In general it is the job of a news organization is to get you to tune in again. It is a task that tends to lead to sensationalism rather than objectivism. Again, in our opinion, you are more likely to have your information stolen from normal use of your credit card in a traditional brick and mortar setting than from using your card on an SSL encrypted signal.

If you prefer, you may always phone in your order to (951) 471-3918.

5. How can I tell my order was approved?

You will receive an email if you entered a valid email address when you ordered (this too is on the Secure Server page). We don't track the email address, although it is kept with your order as a hard copy in our archives we keep for record keeping. These records are only to account to the State of California and the Federal Government as to any accounting audits. Especialy as it applies to which shipments were made within or without the State of California, etc. The information is not stored in a database and is not sold to anyone.
